Teaching Philosophy:
Singing is equivalent to sharing a piece of your soul.
I am deeply passionate about the voice and helping each singer find joy while singing in their most efficient, effective, and easiest way possible.
Most importantly, I want to emphasize that I will learn just as much from you as you will learn from me!
I love working with students who are eager to learn and grow.
My goal will always be to give you what you are looking for, and most importantly to have fun because isn't that what singing is all about?
My process of teaching is different with every individual I am working with. I want to meet you where you are at.
What are your goals?
Do you have college auditions coming up? Are you looking to improve on your karaoke skills? Have you never dared to sing before, but have always wanted to give it a try? Have you taken singing lessons in the past, but haven't taken one in years? Are you a professional singer looking to take your skills, technique and artistry to the next level?
What I am seeking is to help you discover you and your sound.
What makes you unique? Why do you love to sing? What excites you, makes you cry or laugh, or feel comforted when listening to other artists? What do you want to say? What is important to you? As someone who has never felt like I fit into any one category, I believe that each authentic sound should not only be accepted but encouraged.
What I can promise to you is the following:
1. I will always meet you where you are at on any given day
2. I will bring my full self to every lesson
3. I will share my knowledge with you in pursuit of you becoming your own vocal expert and coach in your practice sessions
4. I will never stop learning and educating myself further as a voice teacher, performer and fellow artist
I cannot wait to get started!
